(seriously assumed – I’ve never EVER seen mention of “relationships” in heaven, or “friendships” in heaven. I’ve also never heard of anyone being made “normal”. Even if you were made “normal”, what makes you think that;

2. Normal is a good state to be

No more pain
(after 100 years or so of purgatory, if we’re following your beliefs – and technically, since you’d have committed a grievous sin (self termination = thou shalt not kill, you’d actually go to hell. The bible is pretty specific about Hell – in the NEW testament, Jesus himself references it a few times – see: http://www.eternalhell.net/biblequotesonhell.htm I’m not a hugely religious person, but I know that you are.)

No more sorrows

Katelyn’s parents won’t have to worry about me having Aspergers anymore, because I’ll be made whole.  So they won’t worry about me hurting Kate

It’s sad that you see it that way. I can think of some pros for living and cons for dying, but I don’t think you’ll be able to see them at this point, so pointing them out may only serve as further frustration.

Tragic outcome, and the way I see it, it’s a huge failure of the system to do what it’s supposed to do.

What if you kill yourself, Katelyn doesn’t kill herself, Katelyn outlives you by decades, Katelyn has a relationship with another man instead of staying single all those decades, and after they die she wants to stay in her relationship with *him* in heaven instead of dumping him to go back to a relationship with you?
