So this morning is my birthday. One which I thought would be on the level of suckage as well unmeasurable proportions. But I got an email that brightened my day.
This email came from the supervisor of Bethany, the adoption agency that is handling Julia’s adoption.
Zachary:The family is open to meeting with you at Bethany next week [times edited out for privacy]. Will this work for you?Jan
I’m so excited, for those that have seen my birthday wishlist, this was listed as a need. Its the only thing on my wishlist that I’ve received – and frankly I’m happy with it.

This comes as such a relief to me too because even tho we don’t know each other I care about all of you.
I’m sad tho that you don’t have her and get to see her every day. But this is better than not seeing her at all! Do you know a lot about the adoptive parents, how they will raise Julia, etc?
For the last time, I’m not opposed to the adoption. I don’t think I could properly take care of Julia. I only wish I was more a part of the process and that is happening.
