So my computer fans have been running like hell lately, so I bought some canned air to clean it out and when I added power I noticed my power supplies fan was not turning at all.  That is very bad and a fire hazard.  I’m very lucky it has not burned out or caught fire yet.  So I’m going to be working from a piece of shit old laptop when I get back from my retreat.

I’m not happy and am having to spend emergency money to get a new powersupply.  With adsense revenue down this month I’m going to have a hard time paying bills next month.

So this is bullshit, thats all.

In about an hour I’m leaving on a last minute vacation with an old friend of mine.  I will be gone for an indefinite amount of time, possibly as long as 2-3 weeks.  I will try and update websites when I can while on vacation.

I’m using this time to get away from things, think and ponder about whats going on in my life and what needs to change.

So I think I owe a few people online some apologies… I have been rather cranky as of late as I really have a lot on my mind.  The local emergency management director is frankly being an asshole to me and quite a few other people that have volunteered for him.  Hes gone after people for very small mistakes, or people that don’t agree with him on things.  Then I’m worried about Katelyn a lot lately, I still have not heard back from my support worker on the rules for Kate and I talking… but I am very happy her and I will soon be talking.  I also wonder a lot about my daughter Julia who we gave up for adoption.  I have never seen her and its really eating away at me.

I have a lot more on my mind right now… and its got me really hurting inside right now.  Sorry if I have recently snapped off on you because of it.  I’ve also taken care to remove a lot of the recent crap posts I’ve posted.

As is typical with Michigan Funnel Clouds it was very short lived and hard to spot.  I used my Kodak ZX1 (and decided this camera is clearly not for shooting severe weather – so you can’t see much, sorry).  But the video is below.

So this morning I busted WOODTV for violating copyright law. They posted a copyright clipart image on the internet without purchasing it, with the watermark still intact.  I posted a comment on their post and no response was given, but there responding to everyone else.  A screen capture of the copyrighted image is below.

Notice the watermark in the sun picture and everything!  The sun picture is available for purchase from this site and the End User License Agreement for the image reads:

Our images are NOT free. You must purchase a license for each image that you want to use for ANY purpose. If you are caught using a watermarked image you will be fined for the image license. NO EXCEPTIONS

So WOODTV, why you be stealing other peoples stuff to make a profit?

So its no secret I hate Wal-Mart….. so its time to have a little fun at Walmart… and I videotaped it.  For those of you who don’t know WalMart has this really crappy policy where you can’t record in there stores so I had to be very secretive about it.  I stuck my Kodak ZX1 in my front shirt pocket with my credit card in front of it covering the recording LED.  It worked.

So I returned 46 cans…. and printed a bottle slip for each can.  I then went and bought one mushroom (WTF mushrooms cost 18 cents?!) and payed for it with said bottle slips….. enjoy.

So a friend of mine who shall remain nameless got a tattoo.  Its in fact a great tattoo – its just spelled wrong.  He posted a message on facebook bragging about the brand new tattoo he just got of the bible verse Philippians 4:13 which in itself is a very honorable thing to do.  You should just make sure your honoring God by running that through spell check.

So I was really bored tonight and a bit frustrated with the lack of income I’m getting off the advertising on my sites, so I went to play with my new camera the Kodak ZX1.  I shot this time lapse of the intersection of Drake Road and KL Ave in Kalamazoo about 8PM.  Its 7 minutes condensed down into 1 minute and 30 seconds.  It shows some of the faults of the ZX1 when it gets darker.

Within 3 weeks of this date my legal identity will be different then it is now.  I am changing it.  As soon as I am positive it has gone through I will let you all know what my new identity will be.  I’m quite excited about this.  Any ideas what my new identity will be?

So the FCC has this really sweet online system they call the Universal Licensing Service that you use to make changes and updates to your FCC License.  Well I’m trying to make a change to my FCC Amateur Radio license on ULS and I have been trying for 6 hours and I can’t even get to the login screen without the connection timing out.

I’m finding it very dang frustrating that the FCC ULS seems to always be really slow, and is often down when I need to use it for something.   I know its not a vital service, but it seems to be down more then 50 percent of the time and frankly its really pissing me off right now.  I know every piece of software has its down times, but frankly this software does not seem to have an up time.  It seems like the government would use a much better software to do things – oh wait, I forgot about Government efficiency.  I guess I’m just going to have to settle for the old fashioned paperwork method of doing business with the FCC.

Am I the only one with this problem?
